During the 1970s, Laxma Goud visited Mrs. Ute Rettberg at Surya Galerie in Freinsheim, Germany, a number of times. He exhibited his works at her shows and explored the area. He was taken by the quaint, medieval town and gifted these sketches of Freinsheim to Rettberg during ones of his stays.
