Condition:

This work is in overall good condition. Executed on cream wove paper. The sheet is hinged to the mount on all four corners and on the center of the upper edge. There are repaired pinholes in all four corners and one further pinhole on the center of the upper edge. There are creases in places throughout, most notably towards the center of the figure’s shoulder and on the lower left edge. There is scattered foxing throughout. There is a torn hole in the lower right quadrant due to a previous gunshot (please refer to the catalogue raisonné for explanation), which is covered on the reverse with another sheet of paper affixed to the reverse with tape. There is glue residue on the reverse lower right corner, possibly due to a previous label. This work would benefit from a new mount.
