Sète, le bateau de pêche

signed marquet (lower left)

oil on canvasboard

33 by 41cm., 13 by 16⅛in.

Framed: 53.2 by 61.4cm., 20⅞ by 24⅛in.

Painted in 1924.

Painted on a canvasboard. UV light inspection reveals a possible tiny spot of retouching to the centre of the lower edge. There is some minor wear with associated tiny paint losses and surface dirt to parts of the extreme edges. There are a few very fine lines of craquelure in places. There is a miniscule paint loss to the right of the boat mast, only visible on very close inspection. This work is in overall very good condition.
