This work is accompanied by an Attestation of Inclusion from the Wildenstein Institute, and it will be included in the forthcoming Monet Digital Catalogue Raisonné, currently being prepared under the sponsorship of the Wildenstein Plattner Institute, Inc.
Executed on buff-coloured wove paper, not laid down and hinged to the mount in two places along the upper edge. The left edge is unevenly torn. The sheet is time stained. There is a small fold (approx. 1cm) and a very small tear (approx. 2mm.) to the upper right corner, and a further minor tear to the extreme upper right edge, none of which are visible when framed. There are a few handling creases in the lower left quadrant. There are a couple of tiny alkaline inconsistencies in the paper and fly spots in places. There are remnants of tape from a previous mounting on the verso. This work is in overall very good condition.
