Executed in Switzerland in circa 1916-17.
This work will be included in the forthcoming Roussel catalogue raisonné being prepared by Jacques Roussel, Mathias Chivot & Nicolas Langlois.
Executed on cream laid paper, not laid down and hinged to the mount in two places along the upper edge. The right edge is deckled and the other edges are slightly unevenly torn, most prominently at the centre of the left edge. The sheet is time-stained, there are a few scattered spots of foxing in places and a few light handling creases. This work is in overall good condition.
