height (including base): 28.6cm., 11½in.
Conceived circa 1893 and cast in bronze in a numbered edition of 13, this example was cast in 1977.
This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Critique de l'oeuvre sculpté d'Auguste Rodin currently being prepared by the Comité Rodin in collaboration with Galerie Brame & Lorenceau under the direction of Jérôme Le Blay under the archive number 2021-6433B.
