漆畫木板(六扇)

約1945年作

每扇:94 x 26.5 cm; 37 x 10 ½ in.

整體:94 x 159 cm; 37 x 62½in.

This work is in good overall condition as viewed.

Upon close inspection, there is evidence of minor wear and losses around the edges of the panels, but this is consistent with handling of the work.

Under bright light, there are few minor pigment losses at the upper corners of some of the panels, and light scratches and scuffs at scattered places.

There are a few short vertical lines visible at the upper quadrants of some panels, consistent with aging and the wooden material's natural reaction to temperature change.

There are a few faint white accretions at scattered places, for example, the rock at the bottom of the 4th panel (from left), at the tree of the 5th panel (from left) and sky of the rightmost panel.

All other inconsistencies are inherent to the artist's working method and nature of the medium.

Examination under ultraviolet light reveals no signs of restoration.
