Anonymous sale, Boston, Skinner Auctions, 26 May 2015, lot 1126 (as Dutch School, 17th century).
This highly intriguing interior with an artist seated at his easel is reminiscent of the works of Dutch artists active in about 1625-1635, though it is probably more modern in age.  Some elements within the work recall the style of the Amsterdam artist Pieter Codde, others recall the Haarlem hand of Hendrick Pot, while others suggest an awareness of Rembrandt's Artist in his Studio (circa 1628) in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.1
