J.E. Caldwell | A Superb Sapphire and Diamond Pendant-Necklace

藍寶石配鑽石吊墜項鏈

Centering a sugarloaf sapphire weighing approximately 13.20 carats, within a garland frame, topped by a bow, set throughout with old European-cut diamonds, length 15½ inches, signed J.E.C. & Co., numbered 4850; circa 1910.

Please note the sapphire weighs approximately 13.20 carats. Please note this lot is currently unmounted and will be remounted for the purchaser by Sotheby's following the auction.

Accompanied by AGL report no. 1121026 dated February 16, 2022 stating that the sapphire is of Classic Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. Together with a folio attesting to the extraordinary quality of the sapphire and stating it to be 'Royal Blue.'

Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 22022118 dated March 16, 2022 stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 122481 dated May 9, 2022 stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating.
