Of floral design, centring upon an oval ruby weighing 1.48 carats, surrounded by oval white sapphires, to the brilliant-cut diamond borders and shoulders, mounted in 18 karat white gold, size 6½, mount signed della valle, numbered, Italian maker's marks.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 105450, dated 6 March 2019, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, the colour may also be called 'pigeon blood red'.
