Suspending two detachable pendent brooches featuring carved emeralds, ruby beads, the rubies topped by single-cut diamonds, highlighted with brilliant- and rose-cut diamonds, to a similarly set necklace with onyx beads, length approximately 400mm, signed VCA, numbered.
Signed VCA (indistinct), numbered 31610, inscribed Made in France. Mounting tested as white gold. The translucent pear-shaped emerald carving measuring approximately 38.9 x 31.0 x 14.8 mm, is of medium green colour, of strong saturation; the carved emerald beads are of medium light to medium green colour, moderately to heavily included; some with minor surface reaching fissures and chips. The ruby beads are medium to medium light purplish red colour, with typical inclusions, some with minor cavities and surface reaching inclusions. Pendent brooches measuring approximately 63mm and 42mm in length respectively. Metal with minor wear, commensurate with age. Overall in very good condition.
