Rare and Impressive natural pearl and diamond brooch, late 19th century and later


Of entwined ribbon design, centering on a button-shaped pearl measuring 10.75 - 10.75 x 7.00mm, framed with circular-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds, supporting a later detachable slightly baroque drop-shaped pearl measuring 11.70 - 13.35 x 23.40mm, partially capped with rose diamonds, brooch fitting detachable.


Accompanied by SSEF report no. 121273, stating that the pearls were found to be natural, saltwater.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 121273, stating that the button-shaped and the slightly baroque drop-shaped pearls, measuring approximately 10.75 - 10.75 x 7.00mm and 11.70 - 13.35 x 23.44mm are natural, saltwater. Brooch fitting stamped AG925 and OR375 for silver and gold. For more information on the pearls please refer to gemmological report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 10.00 - 12.00 carats, on average H-I colour, SI clarity as gauged and graded in the mount. Tarnish to the metal consistent with age. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 42 grams.
