Impressive ruby and diamond necklace/brooch, M. Gérard
The necklace set with cushion-, pear-shaped, circular-cut and oval rubies, embellished with brilliant-cut diamonds, supporting a detachable pendant similarly set, may be worn as a brooch,length approximately 620mm, signed M. Gérard, numbered, assay marks for gold.
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 121394, stating that the necklace contains rubies of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, with none to a minor amount of oil in fissures.
