Gold, emerald and diamond brooch, Suzanne Belperron, circa 1950
Of scroll design, accented by square- and brilliant-cut diamonds and emerald cabochons, French assay marks for gold, maker’s mark for Groëné et Darde, fitted case unsigned.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Olivier Baroin.

Suzanne Belperron was a pioneer of jewellery design. Spanning several decades of the 20th century her designs were so innovative that she never felt the need to sign her works, stating simply; 'My style is my signature'.
