Gold, emerald and diamond brooch, Suzanne Belperron, circa 1950
Of scroll design, accented by square- and brilliant-cut diamonds and emerald cabochons, French assay marks for gold, maker’s mark for Groëné et Darde, fitted case unsigned.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Olivier Baroin.
Maker's mark for Groené & Dardé au 12 de la rue Saint-Gilles. French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum. Small areas of discoloration to the metal, light scratches consistent with age and wear, brooch fitting slightly bent and missing the secure part. Total gross weight 28 grams.
