Lorenz Bäumer | Diamond ring
Designed as a signet ring in brushed platinum set with a step-cut diamond weighing 3.66 carat, the interior revealing a star setting and a pavement of brilliant-cut diamonds, the mount engraved with a latin proverb 'Faber est suae quisque fortunae', size 62, signed Lorenz Bäumer, numbered, French assay mark for platinum, gross weight 26.21 grams; together with a signed and stamped preparatory drawing for the workshop.
Single piece.
Accompanied by GIA report n°1172852483 dated 7 September 2016 stating that the diamond is Natural Fancy Yellow-Brown Colour and VS2 Clarity.

En forme de chevalière en platine brossé, ornée d'un diamant taille émeraude Fancy Yellow-Brown pesant 3.66 carats, l'intérieur de la bague révélant un serti étoilé et un pavage de diamants taille brillant, la monture gravée du proverbe latin "Faber est suae quisque fortunae", tour de doigt 62, signée Lorenz Bäumer, numérotée, poinçon français pour le platine (950°/00), poids brut 26.21 g; on y joint un dessin préparatoire d'atelier signé et tamponné.Pièce unique.
Accompagnée d'un certificat GIA n°1172852483, en date du 7 septembre 2016, indiquant la couleur naturelle Fancy Yellow-Brown et la pureté VS2 pour ce diamant.
This jewel is a very personal creation as Lorenz Bäumer imagined it for himself and had a Latin motto which he made his own engraved on the ring. "Faber est suae quisque fortunae" translating to "Everyone is the maker of his destiny". Elegance, attention to detail and finishing describes this ring set with a gourmet tinted diamond, reminding the colour of chocolate.
