Good level, color and clarity, label missing majority and mostly disintegrated, capsule slightly worn

Vintage started 1st October (24 hl/ha) Quite a bit more brown than the 1985 - warm earth and roasting chestnuts on the nose. Also warm peach skins - rare for a red wine! Surprisingly strawberryish in flavour. Drink now, long flavour but not big. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

Provenance:

The wines were collected majorly over the past 15 years from Sotheby’s and other auction houses globally. The collector emphasis on great provenance and many from single owner collections. Wines were store at Crown prior to inspection. Inspection were done by Sotheby’s Wine Specialists at Crown Wine Cellars on October 2022
