A German mahogany hexagonal library table, possibly Leipzig, late 18th / early 19th century

of hexagonal form, the top with a flower in marquetry to the centre surrounded all around with a total of six hinged and ratcheted reading tops, the edges of the table with a thin metal band, with two frieze drawers, on tapered legs

77cm. high (reading tops closed), 105cm. high (reading tops to highest position), 131cm. wide
