A George III mahogany library armchair, circa 1765, attributed to Paul Saunders
of typical form, the straight back with a bow-shaped top rail, the arms with foliate and scrolled carving, the cabriole legs with C-scrolls and foliate details to knees scroll feet hollowed out for castors, the later close-nailed upholstery in chartreuse velvet
