Audemars Piguet was the first company to fit an extra thin movement to a wristwatch with the launch of the Reference 25643 featuring the caliber 2870. Building from this success, they introduced a number of other Tourbillon watches and incorporated additional complications. The current watch comes from the Edward Piguet line characterized by its art-deco inspired rectangular case design with stepped case flanks. The dial is engine turned with aperture at 6 o’clock showing the tourbillon cage beneath.
