The 'Spirit of Le Mans' award was created to reward men and women whose dedication, commitment and teamwork approach parallel the value of endurance racing. As part of the prize, the winner also receives a Rolex watch, in this case a Datejust ref 16234 in stainless steel with a charming silvered dial bearing an engraving of the back indicating 2003 winner of the award, Herb Fishel who was in charge of GM Corvette's racing team. The present lot is offered in very good condition.
