Introduced in 1963, the Carrera chronograph has become one of Heuer's most iconic models. Heavily influenced by modernist architecture of the time, the Carrera chronograph took its name from the famous car race through Mexico called Carrera Panamericana and consequently was characterised by the necessary readability of its dial. The present lot stands as a good example of 1960s chronographs and will increase the horological scope of any collection.
