This perpetual calendar chronograph is one of the most sought-after watch from Patek Philippe.
The reference 5970 was introduced in 2004 as the successor to the reference 3970 and was replaced in 2011 by the 5270. It was the last perpetual calendar of the brand using the Lemania 2310-based movement. The watch was offered in 4 different variants: yellow gold, rose gold, white gold and platinum.
Possibly the favorite of the series, the platinum version was the last one to be launched before the discontinuation of the reference. With its beautiful and highly legible charcoal black dial this model rapidly became the most coveted among collectors.
The present watch is in mint condition and still in its double-sealed factory box.
