This special edition Royal Oak Offshore was created for Kobayashi Masato a japanese welterweight kickboxer. He was the first Japanese to become K-1 world champion in 2003. A title he won once again in 2008. Being an athlete that was recognized and respected in kickboxing and the first from his country to win the title of world champion, Audemars Piguet decided to pay tribute to his amazing career.
This limited edition bears a red dial, the color of champions. At 1 o'clock, a diamond-set '3' replaces the number one. This is Masato's lucky number and it represetns his determination to always be number one. The number 14 at 2 o'clock is his wife's lucky number and is a statement of the importance of family to the athlete.
Only 200 pieces of this limited edition were produced in stainless steel. This timepiece is offered in good and attractive condition and is accompanied by its warranty booklet.
