The Datejust is one of the best known pieces in Rolex's repertoire. Introduced in the 1940s, it was first exclusively produced in yellow gold but given its success Rolex soon started experimenting with different material variations. Featuring an enigmatic silvered dial, the present 16234 is cased in very versatile stainless steel and bears the signature of its original retailer on the dial.
