The little robot Sherman is an innovative timepiece designed by MB&F and manufactered by the renowned Swiss clock maker L’Epée. Its movement has a powerful reserve of eight days and is composed of 148 parts. The mainspring barrel is visible above the tank treads, and the movement operates at a steady frequency of 2.5Hz. The winding key can be inserted into Sherman’s eye sockets, one to adjust the time and the other to wind the movement.
In 2016, MB&F produced three limited edition versions of Sherman for a total of 450 pieces. There were 200 plated in palladium, 200 pieces plated in yellow gold, and 50 pieces set with diamonds.
