The Queen Elizabeth II Cup was first started in Hong Kong in 1975 to commemorate a visit to Hong Kong by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Audemars Piguet came in sponsoring the Cup in 1999 and since then the race was re-titled the “Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup”. Limited to 200 pieces, Audemars Piguet pays tribute to this memorable event by releasing reference 26474TI in 2018. The case and the bracelet were made in rare titanium, very lightweight yet giving the watch a versatile sporty appearance. Not to mention the slate grey dial with Audemars Piguet’s signature Méga Tapisserie pattern has a unique hue to match the aesthetics of the case, unifying the tone of this remarkable timepiece.
