Made to commemorate the new millennium in the year 2000, the Patek Philippe reference 5100 was made in a limited series of all metals. The collection is of many unusual features, with a unique case of flared sides, it was inspired by one of the most majestic creatures in the oceans, the "Manta Ray". Mechanically, this watch features the calibre 28-20 220 which provides the maison’s first ever 10-day movement with an indicator at 12 o’clock tracking the energy reservoir.
The present example houses a C.O.S.C certified movement and is accompanied by a presentation box, Certificate of Origin and C.O.S.C certificate to mark the third millennium.
