With the vision to create an ultra-light wristwatch, F.P. Journe completed the quest in a spectacular fashion. Made available from 2014 to 2018, the current titanium Octa Sport replaced the aluminum version to enhance the durability of the timepiece while keeping its lightweight status. Unlike F.P. Journe’s traditional watches, the case is matte finished with rubber bumpers, giving a sporty appeal and protecting the watch from shock and scratches. Also offering a 5-day power reserve, the movement is made of aluminum, distinguishing itself from the conventional rose gold movement used in other F.P. Journe’s dress watches. Not only does it give a novel appearance and greatly reduce the weight of the watch, but the engineering on maintaining the movement’s accuracy is on another level.


Extremely rare due to F.P. Journe’s low production capacity, it is definitely one of the future classics and a special collection for an astoundingly light, durable sports watch.
