In 2001, Journe presented a collection of automatic watches, based on a single movement with different additional complications, with a single size for all the complications and with a long power reserve, improved chronometric performances and great stability over the long power reserve. The Octa, a uniform collection whatever the complications or display are used, has seen several versions including annual or perpetual calendar, chronograph, moon phases or UTC. Still, the base of the movement, the dimensions and the style were shared. The movement was a 5 day power reserve calibre, with variable inertia balance and capacity to accept most types of modules.
The Octa Divine is the first automatic movement of the brand to feature a power reserve with an astounding 5 days/ 120 hours indication. Aesthetically, the Octa Divine consists of the off-set display that is uniquely to F.P. Journe and further provided a beautiful moon phases to enhance the elegance of the appeal for the watch.
