Early Roger Dubuis timepieces are rare gems to be found in the secondary market. As a watchmaker, his repertoire is nothing but significant. In his early days, he worked at Longines which is known to produce some of the best chronographs today and afterward, he moved to Patek Philippe to construct the maison’s finest and most complicated watch movements.

The present watch is an example of the H37 from the Hommage Chronograph series that was produced in very limited numbers of 28 pieces. Drawing inspiration from the Patek Philippe reference 130, the present watch features a retro scientific pulsation sector dial and features a RD.56 caliber which is a modified Lemania 2310 movement that is known to power the Patek Philippe reference 3970 and Omega calibre 321 as well.

With an elegant three part case resembling the finesse of modern watchmaking, this watch is a fine example of Roger Dubuis’ early wristwatch that is becoming more and more popular and harder to find today.
