Produced between 1989 to 2007 the GMT-Master II reference 16710 is a flavourful model for its abundance of variations on the bezel, dial printing and movement. One of these variations would be identified by Rolex collectors to be the "stick dial". Upon close inspection, one will notice the font on the present GMT-Master "||" would be printed as a pair of sticks, instead of the regular Roman numerals "II". The "stick dial" indicates the last iteration of the GMT-Master II before changing to the modern ceramic bezel, making it a highly desirable transitional model among collectors.
