Prominently illustrated in Daytona Perpetual by Pucci Papaleo, Pages 138 and 139
This watch which we are proud to offer is a legendary reference 16523 encased in a yellow gold and stainless steel housing that is rarely available for viewing but at the same time no stranger to Rolex Enthusiasts as it was illustrated in page 139 of Pucci Papaleo’s Daytona Perpetual. Rendered in the translucent finishing, a unique characteristic of the rare Porcelain dial, the present watch features a rare “suspended logo” as the “Cosmograph” word is dropped further from the 4 above lines. Additionally the watch retailed by Tiffany & Co., is further stamped with the brand’s signature within the 12 hours subsidiary dial that is an uncharacterized approach, even for Rolex. Exceptional in the realm of Neo Vintages, this example of the 16523 is a rare sighting to be admired and with the complement of the retailer’s signature making this a possibly unique example of the Cosmograph Daytona, that has been retained in very nice original condition.
