Ranking among the most iconic chronographs, the Daytona family has adopted different styles and variations since launching in the 1960s. The present example reference 116505 is a modern interpretation of the Cosmograph Daytona collection.
In production from 2008 to 2012, the reference 116505 stands as an example of Rolex’s more experimental approach to the material and design of the classic Daytona. Housed in an Everose gold case and a glossy black dial with pink gold subsidiary dials, the watch features a combination that was uncommon at the time and became highly appreciated by collectors for its luxurious arrangement.
Offered in excellent condition with complete accessories, the present watch depicts Rolex's daring character with new designs and materials in the modern era.
