Launched in 2019, Code 11.59 was the first collection to be introduced almost 25 years after the previous collection, the Millenary. As an important milestone for the brand, Code 11.59 represents four important visions - "Challenge", "Own", "Dare" and "Evolve". One minute ahead of the game, 11:59 pm would be the last minute before another day, embracing everything that is brand new to come.
The present example of the Code 11.59 Tourbillon Openworked is an optical masterpiece to look at. The dial is carefully skeletonised to expose the architectural excellency of its design, its black-finished bridges and tourbillon cage are to be admired through the double curved sapphire crystal. Its mechanical calibre 2948 is composed of 196 parts and propelled an impressive power reserve of 80 hours. The handsome pink gold case on the other hand, is forged from an exceptional design brand new to the brand yet true to its roots. The octagonal case band is sandwiched between the circular bezel and case back, along with skeletonised lugs it presents a distinctive and cutting edge impression.
