Launched in 2010, Patek Philippe’s Reference 5170 features their first in house manual winding chronograph movement, the calibre 29-535PS. Replacing its predecessor reference 5070 and its Lemania calibre, this model features a smaller, more comfortable Calatrava inspired case in platinum, the most lustrous and exclusive of the metals used for this reference.
With a subtle sunburst finish, the alluring blue dial reserved for this platinum beauty is also adorned with 9 sparkling baguette-cut diamond hour markers. In addition to the luxurious features of this model, its rarity due to the discontinuation of this reference in 2019 makes this Patek Philippe complication a highly coveted and collectable timepiece.
