Originally launched in 1976, the Nautilus has gone through many modifications while remaining an icon of Patek Philippe. The reference 5726 was first released in 2010 as an extension of the original Nautilus family and was the first stainless steel Patek creation that featured an annual calendar complication. The most recent version of the reference 5726 was released in 2019 and pays homage to the original Nautilus with its elegant blue-black gradated dial with telltale horizontal embossing. While the stainless steel case conceals the impressive annual calendar, the wearer can always admire the mechanics through the sapphire crystal case back.
