The Master Gyrotourbillon 1 collection was introduced in 2004 as a product of the watchmakers at Jaeger-LeCoultre aiming to create a device that resolved potential positional errors, at its launch it was one of the very few multi-axis tourbillons available and considered one of the most important contemporary watches made. So, the first multi-axis tourbillon of the manufacturer was introduced and remains part of Jager-LeCoultre’s current collection.
Going above and beyond, this watch features a perpetual calendar complication as well as a rarely seen equation of time complication, an interesting mechanism that displays the difference between apparent solar time and mean solar time and offers an insight into the world of celestial mechanics. Showcasing not only the technical mastery but the artisan skill of the house, the dial features marquetry of semi-precious stones, the shimmering aventurine exerts a deep and luxurious blue, complimenting the celestial complication.
Further enhancing the alluring sparkle of the beautiful dial is the sleek platinum case set with 114 baguette cut diamonds. With its amazing complication and limited production, this master timepiece would make an invaluable addition to the collection of watch lovers and collectors alike.
