After Rolex had completely stopped the production of its Zenith based Daytona movement, the brand decided to reinvent its model by not only incorporating the watch with a new movement but also by applying different metals and dial layouts.. As a watch, it is equipped with a highly reliable and efficient movement, the calibre 4130, which is entirely designed and manufactured in-house. However, its most appealing aspect would be the employment of a special mix of pink gold, also known as "Everose gold" which is unique to Rolex and known for its lovely rosy sheen.
