An Early German Silver-Gilt Kiddush Cup, Johann Fassnacht, Augsburg, 1711-15

on screw-on foot chased with round bosses, the body of octagonal form, rounded at the base and chased with a lower band of vertical lobes, the middle with eight square panels of diamond pattern, the rim with  engraved two -line Hebrew inscription punctuated by two flowers, a slightly later presentation inscription engraved below, marked on lower body with maker’s mark and city mark incorporating date code
