Overall in very good condition. The wood surfaces present with scratches, minor abrasions, and small indentations throughout. The bench area presents with sun fading to the finish. The two legs present with slightly more pronounced wear overall with evidence of later restoration and inpainting, hairlines, and very small losses to the lower edges. Front edges of the wooden shelves with slightly more pronounced areas of losses, the largest measuring approximately 22 in. long and not visually distracting. Some very minimal soiling to the interior of the shelves consistent with use and not visually distracting. The screws are in age appropriate condition with light oxidation throughout. The lacquered metal surfaces appear to have been relacquered in the history of the piece and are in overall very good condition. The metal surface framing the bench area with slightly more pronounced and scattered losses and discoloration to the lacquer with scratches and losses concentrated to the corners.
