Marcilhac no. 876

glass with white patina

incised Lalique

10 in. (25.4 cm) high

9½ in. (24 cm) diameter

Overall in very good condition. When viewed firsthand, the vase displays a deep emerald green coloration which contrasts with a white patina application to the recessed areas, used to enhance the three-dimensionality of the piece. The glass surfaces with scattered minor air bubbles, particulate inclusions and surface irregularities inherent in the making and not visually distracting. The glass presents with very fine scattered surface scratches throughout consistent with gentle handling. The rim of the vase presents with a few minute edge flecks, only visible upon close inspection. The underside of the base with later added engraved signature, Lalique.
