Overall in very good condition. The wood is stable and in age-appropriate condition overall and presents with faint scratches, abrasions and minute indentations throughout. The vellum is in age-appropriate condition and presents with faint scratches overall as well as discoloration, small abrasions and raised grain. The vellum is enhanced with painted decorations which are very well preserved overall and retain their vivid appearance, with some occasional faint discolorations. The copper presents with light oxidation throughout, consistent with age. The fabric rope and tassels present with some loose threads and irregular knotting, but are stable. One smaller fabric element is detached, not visually distracting.
