Overall in very good condition. The “Moyen Modèle” version of this avian design exhibits balanced proportions and a highly naturalistic presence. The metal surfaces throughout present with minor surface irregularities inherent to production and application of the gilding and patina. The metal surfaces present with some occasional rubbing and faint discoloration, as well as light scattered surface scratches and minor traces of oxidation consistent with age and gentle handling. The frosted glass shade is a later replacement in excellent condition. Please note that this lamp is wired to European standards. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and recommends having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
