Covered in a delicate white glaze, the present lot is closely related to a molded example in the Museum of East Asian Art, Bath (accession no. BATEA:38). Compare also two related examples, one in the Sir Alan Barlow Collection, housed in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (accession no. LI1301.314), and another exhibited in The Hans Popper Collection of Oriental Art, Center of Asian Art and Culture, San Francisco, 1973, cat. no. 96.
