painted with a vignette of three birds in branches issuing from a mound, the narrow border gilt with four bouquets below a gilt dentil rim, interlaced Ls mark, date letter D for 1757, painter's mark of a lozenge

Dorrance Jr., sold at Sotheby's New York, 20 October 1989, lot 163, formerly with The Antique Porcelain Company, New York; the second sold at Sotheby's London, 13 June 1995, lot 226.
