A Palissy-type moulded royal armorial dish "aux armes de France", circa 1600-1650, probably Le Pre D'Auge 


oval on a low foot, moulded in relief with acorns and oak leaves below birds, the Royal coat-of-arms within Collier of the Order of Saint Michel and a stag, recumbent in an oval cartouche, the border with masks in ovolos divided by flowerheads, enriched in a typical palette, the underside with speckled brown glaze

length 13 3⁄4 in.; 35 cm.
