• This piece was produced and used as décor for the 2013 'Planet Chanel' Fall/Winter Ready-To-Wear Runway Show
• The show was presented at the Grand Palais with a huge globe in the center. The CC flags marked on the globe the various locations of Chanel boutiques across the world.
• Karl Lagerfeld came up with the idea stating that during the 2013 'Planet Chanel' Fall/Winter Ready-To-Wear Runway show it was the 100th year anniversary of Coco Chanel opening her first boutique in Deauville. During the shows time period there were presently 300 boutiques globally showcasing the desire for Chanel around the globe.
