Designed by Gérald Genta in 1986, this absolutely stunning piece of art features two lions and two cubs made of gold, diamonds and yellow sapphires. They lie on a large rock crystal base. The timepiece made of gold and sapphires features a mother-of-pearl dial and Gérald Genta's famous lapis lazuli moon phases and unique octagonal facetted crystal.
This timepiece was produced in the early 90s as a unique piece. It featured a total diamond weight of approximately 28 carats and a total sapphire weight of 38 carats. It was sold by Sotheby's in April 2013 for 1'720'000 HKD.
This resplendent design is another masterpiece made by the designer that shaped the world of watches as we know it today.
