An 18th century German kiddush cup

Georg Nicolaus Bierfreund, Nuremberg 1779-1783

The octagonal bowl with floral chasing and engraved with a Passover inscription in Hebrew (translation: 'You shall keep the Festival of the Matzot, and for seven days shall you eat matzot'), with foliate chasing on the foot.
