A Louis XIV gilt-bronze mounted brass inlaid ebony and tortoiseshell ‘Boulle’ marquetry bibliothèque, circa 1700 and later, attributed to Nicolas Sageot
the upper half with glazed doors opening to three adjusting shelves, the lower section with two cupboard doors depicting Hercules battling the Hydra, opening to reveal two shelves, raised on a base with canted corners, partially reconstructed, losses, restorations
